Leaving TUS 12/20 to catch the ferry that nigh. With any luck will be in CSL the evening of the 21st. Have room for a rider or will slow up to let you tag along.

Yes, I only have a Bronce so space is somewhat limited but we can talk about it.

bearbait1 - 12-5-2007 at 01:31 PM

What's the approximate cost for a vehicle on the ferry?

capt. mike - 12-5-2007 at 01:51 PM

thx OSOFLOJO but you will need all your space.
thx for considering.
i need TVs and washing machine, dish washer, big stuff you know = i'll have to suffer a drive down one day myself i guess but i will go thru guaymas too never did that, i'd like to hear about your experiences with that some time.
safe one ya hear!

Bait & Capt Mike, this will be my 4th crossing. They charge by the length of the vehicle my full sized Bronco is $350 US plus the accomidations for yourself. For me it equals out when you consider the cost of 2 hotel rooms, gas, two days driving and the ****around factor. try: www.ferrysantarosalia.com .

I guess it is all perspective, but when you think 12 hours in a stinky boat with crying babies all around, and if it is rough people puking their guts up, I would rather take my chances on Mex 1.

Mike you can have a whole semi truck full of stuff hauled down from TJ for 350. Ask your German friends for references.

Minnow, you are correct, thats why I pay extra for a cabin.
