I have just ended my weekly(and sometimes twice weekly) drives north across TJ/San Ysidro crossing. House is finally finished, so I'm on to
decorating materials.
Past 2 weeks have seen 2-3 hour waits in TJ. Yesterday, Dec 6, they had Padre Kino Blvd(the far east entry at SY, near Sentri) closed.
Otay was 1 hour. Bajabound2005 says ITOLDYOUSO!
My mexican girlfriend indicates that shopping in USA is what this is all about through end of year. True? This is my second December living here,
but, first one crossing border often.

Buddy WITH a Sentri spent 2 hours trying to reach the Sentri lanes Wed. @ SY, and finally gave up!! School was out in TJ and YES the shoppers will add
much time to your border wait this time of year!

Otay is easier to get to and usually a quicker crossing with the SENTRI , IMHO.
