We are leaving La Paz to go north tomorrow (Saturday) morning. Are there any gasoline shortages (Magna) along the way. The weather should not have
interfered with fuel transport between the mainland and the La Paz terminal.
Thanks in advance.

you never know when a gas shortage will happen...stations can be closed or without gas for a variety of reasons( power outage, waiting for truck to
unload gas, truck accident, baja 1000, excessive traffic like around christmas holidays, etc. etc. which is why anywhere in Baja Sur you should always
have enough gas in your tank to get you to the next station. they don't get extra gas around holidays, they maintain their normal fuel orders so when
there is a huge increase in trave...gas runs out! It's very common on the holidays so be sure to keep the tank topped up all the time!

IMO...operate on the top 50% of your tank...more stops but nothing is for sure in Baja...one thing that may help to serve as a reminder is...drink
more coffee

Can you haul a couple of filled gas cans just in case? And then pour them in at the end of your trip if not needed? Someone reported just last week
G.Negro was out a they were passing through.
When heading south our first fill up is at El Rosario, I'll fill some cans there just for that purpose.

Seems like just a few years a go you pretty much always had at least 5 gallons when you traveled...... might have been more (years) they're starting
to run together now.

Basically the wind is strong today and again tomorrow but not real strong so you wont experience problems with gas shortages like you might with
strong Norte winds. And the forecast is for diminishing winds. Enjoy your trip north.

remember...as i understand it
from el rosario north the gas comes from northren baja
south of el rosario it comes from la paz which is boated in
