Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere, but I wasn't able to figure this out for sure.
Is it possible to get the Tourist Card for Baja 24 hrs a day in Tijuana? We're hoping to leave San Diego early (perhaps 6 AM) and would be arriving at
the border before 7.....we're planning to spend 7 days in Mexico, going as far south as Mulege....I thought I had read somewhere that the office was
only open certain hours, but perhaps this has changed.
Thanks a lot

They are open 24 hours a day, at 7 a.m. you won't have a problem getting it. Have your Birth Cert. or Passport to obtain an FM-T (tourist card)
Once you cross the border immediatly enter the far right lane in an attempt to park, tell the guards "immagration". You already passed the office as
you entered the parking area. Bank window next to that for payment.
Have a great trip.

Great, thanks! It'll be good to get a nice early start!

If they are not in the office in front, go around the building to the back and walk towards the border crossing. The building on the left is
Immigration. Wake them up if it looks closed.

Well all that I can say is all bets are off around the 20th of November. We could not get anyone anywhere at the boarder office to do anything. Nobody
there!Seems that they like to bridge their weekends when a big holiday falls on a monday. But for the most part like said before, go around back and
wake them up.

Vaca, what time of the day?
Sounds like a good time to take a load of housing supplies down.

If it doesn't work to get the FM-T cards at Tijuana, are there places further south to stop and get them?

No! You must get your FM-T validated at the border. By the time you reach TJ they'll be awake...
