I believe that this is a juvenile. His coloring is muted, not as distinctive as an adult

I forgot to mention in the previous photo that the shore fishing is good. They are probably catching snook as they like the salt/fresh water
mix....yummy robalo, my absolute favorite fish
The guys in this pic are using nets for something...fresh water shrimp, bait...who knows

The boca(mouth) of the estero has closed. The estero is filling up again...whew.
I figured it was a natural thing happening but with all the new wells around here was afraid that there wasnt enough water available.

The cara caras and buzzards are finding lotsa dead things to eat.
