Sally Don Jimmy's daughter sent this to me WITH A PICTURE ATTACTHED---I could not get picture to paste!
DON JIMMY SMITH
1928 - 2004
Jimmy & his daughter Sally
alias Mistress Quickly from The Merry Wives of Windsurf
Most certainly an intricate part of the history of this place; just about everyone in Southern Baja knew him and his work, and would generally agree
that he truly was a much loved and respected man. In his own right, he had an amazing talent to express himself concisely, with a great humor born of
complete empathy for the human dilemma. Ah yes, and he always did it with such a sweet minimum of words.
He was truly a thespian at heart, and one who had a great appreciation for the works of Shakespeare. Don Jimmy loved all of us who breath life to the
magic words of the Bard, especially on a Baja starry spring night such as tonight; and as such, we love you back Don Jimmy.
And just in case you haven?t read the Grinning Gargoyle Spills the Beans, then know you are missing out on as sweet a tale of love as was ever
written, i.e. ?The Courting of Dona Lupe?, what a gem! Ah, but do not despair, you are in luck as you can still obtain a copy of his collection of
Baja yarns and meet the lady herself. She is in the little tienda ?Playa del Tesoro? just south of the gas station in Buena Vista. Yes, most
certainly well worth the stop, what a great way to get insight into the history of the man and this place.
Baja Bernie, hope this makes sense.

Right click your mouse on the picture you want to post and save it to your desktop (or wherever you want to save it to). Then, go to bajanomad and
go post your message and down below the message box is a space that says "Attachement" and a button that says "Browse". Click the browse button and
then bouble click on your picture where you have it saved and it will automatically attach it to your post. Then hit post reply and voila!

Doggies,
Don Jimmy works in mysterious ways! He wouldn't let my attempts work so that Sally would be drawn out. Anyway, it is there now. Thanks bajapablo--I
tried but nothing worked for me. It has before and since but not here.
