Doug, Thanks, I have down sized the photo in several programs to around 40k but I still get the same message. I'm not set up fpr the URL thing...yet

You can host the image elsewhere such as picasa and add the image to your post with the bb code for image. Click the bb code to the left of the post box and read to learn more about using bb code to add images, links, movies, web pages, etc...

For example, you will use [ for bb code ] http://myhost.linktoimage [/ close bb code ]

It means there is an ' or someother punctuation mark in the link, that isn't accepted by the site. Rename the photo file without extra punctuations and it will post fine.

Russ...make sure the name you gave the photo does not contain any hyphens, commas, etc...sometimes that prohibits the transfer.

.opps, I see David has already covered that..

I'm sure that was the reason. I renamed it and walla it posted. Thanks I now know why.

Just confirming that usually a MySQL error will be because of an apostrophe or quote mark character in the attachment's file name. Change the name to remove such - and eliminate the issue.

Thanks for pointing that out David.

Pompano - never tried it with a comma, so don't know if that causes the same issue.
