Today's LA Times is reporting that Mexico's Interior Minister has resigned and that Calderon will hold a press conference today to discuss his
resignation. Cant find the news item on line, though.
The Interior Minister is basically in charge of the war against the cartels.

So, Ferna, what happens to the outgoing guy, now? That man knows the complete gameplan against the cartels.

I am not THAT much of a pessimist, Dennis.
Replacing entire police forces is a game plan. If Mexico can succeed in keeping police clean, the cartels' work will be immensely harder.
That's a big IF, right now.
