He had an appointment with the surgeon for a check up on an outpatient procedure and I needed to pick up my glasses.

All was calm in the Rio district. Hubby asked the doctor about the recent violence; the doctor just shrugged and said that it had nothing to do with them, the people of Tijuana who go to work everyday at their regular jobs to support their families and improve their lives.

I walked up to Juarez Blvd past the police station to the bakery. There were police coming and going in a normal fashion. The morning seemed no different then any other....

They play their cards close to the chest. I once asked a neighbor who her next-door neighbor of twenty years was and she shrugged her shoulders saying, I don't know.
Unlike us, Mexicans don't spill their guts to strangers.
