Today I came upon a woman whose service is to expedite international visas & passports.

Passport Update
Turn around time for a first time passport currently under 2 weeks. Made an appointment at the neighborhood USPost Office, presented all required
paperwork, paid standard fees, Passport dlevered by mailman 12 days later. Passport was processed in Los Angeles, we live in San Francisco.

no...pasport was NOT processed in Los Angeles
the office is just called the Los Angles Passport Agency
ALL passports are processed back east in 3 locations
