FM-3 Renewal

Although my wife and I applied for our FM3's at the same time in 2007, hers was held up, so our renewal dates are 60 days apart. Is there a way during the renewal process that we can eliminate this time gap so that future renewals can be done at the same time? Also, what is the turnaround time on getting your book back once you have submitted your documents?

In Cabo it takes about 1 to 2 weeks to get your FM3 back. Don't know how to change the dates tho.

Also in La Paz, usually takes one week to get your book back.

Will they let you renew yours two months early? Don't see why they would object. That would put you on the same page again.

My understanding is that you can only start the renewal process one month before it expires. But then there are people who make a living out of dealing with such issues and who may be able to facilitate the process...

wed turned in the paperwork to santa rosalia
pick up the final monday

fast to renew

The renewal must be applied for within 30 days of expiration.

I have filled out the paperwork early, but my agent always holds on to the paperwork until inside that 30 day window.

you could apply 30 days early two years in a row and have the same date

Wouldn't the simplest answer to your question be to take the early one into Immigration together with the later one and ask the officer if there's a way to change it after you explain your dilemma. :?:
