Suggestions for new Nomad?

Good Morning Nomads,
I have met a few of you. Despite those experiences, I'm still joining as a newbie member of B.N..

Any suggestion for my travels from Ocean Beach down through the TJ, Rosarito, Ensenada area appreciated. Also, any suggestions on how to add posts to get my avatar ON appreciated?

Welcome aboard, Oba..........

In our travels over the last year, we always cross at Otay and take Blvd 2000 to Popotla. from there, you can take either the free road or the tollroad north to Rosarito/TJ or south to Pureto Nuevo/ Ensenada.

No problems, although we always drive during daylight hours.

WELCOME to BajaNomad,I agree on taking Blv 2000,but don't recommend it at night, specially right now with all the problems in town,not only that but the signing(traffic signs) are not yet finish.

PS.remember that all Nomads are the same we are all different,thats the beauty of this Board,we don't have to agree with every body.But it would be nice if we could.

When you cross don't stop until you reach Baja Cactus in El Rosario.... make that your first night... then drive the second day to Ignacio Springs Bed and Breakfast..... spend two nights there to recharge and relax before heading on .....

Don't drive at night .....and be sure to stop in at Todos Santos .

I was attempting humor about my experiences meeting other nomads recently. That failed, just like others' attempted humor here. Is this where old standup comics go to die?

Hey! I came up with it when we were Baja bound! The license plate frame on our other vehicle (not the big red beast you saw) says Baja Bound Hounds with doggy paw prints on it. Our 3 dogs were Baja Bound with us as well, the handle kind of "stuck". Besides, it was kind of fun at the beginning to "keep 'em guessing."
