Tomorrow, we're off!

The camper is packed (well, mostly) and we launch off tomorrow for San Felipe/Gonzaga Bay... It's raining like cats and dogs right now in San Diego, so we're hoping for better weather South of the border.

Thanks to everyone for the information... Couldn't do this trip without all the help. I've printed out David K's waypoint docs, a half dozen geocaching sites and many posts from this board. Hopefully the road won't be too bad for my city wife and city kids.

I'll post a report when we get back!

You have a great time!
Remember my Baja rules: No damn watches... Eat when you are hungry, and sleep when you are tired!

However, I guess you should remember that Daylight Savings starts this Sunday (Baja honors this Ben Franklin idea, too).

Have a laugh when you are about 30 miles south of San Felipe, where the pavement beging to disintegrate.. 25 miles of pot hole hell to Puertecitos.

The Puertecitos tidal hot springs are out on the point, on the left/ gulf side of the little peninsula that makes Puertecitos cove. Kind of interesting.. a paved path leads down to them... a fee may be collected at the entrance gate to the private property you pass through. IF you go to them, get a GPS waypoint there.

Remember, Geocaching is at map datum WGS84 (factory setting) and my list is at NAD27 Mexico (Baja Topo Mapa/Almanac).
Have a blast!!! Irma and Antonio at Alfonsina's are great... have her fish and shrimp meals!
