Coyote Bay now...heavy overcast, temperature shaded is 59. Far different than yesterday. Aching knees telling me it might rain a drop or two.

Based on that radar/water moisture shot of Russ's, that looks like the front that passed through SoCal late Sunday/Monday. Big disappointment in terms
of moisture.

I know what you mean, Russ. We were commenting on that yesterday when most boats we saw leaving Chivato went way north. Well..it's been good
fishing up past San Marcos, but we have had lots of good fishing over the years per that spot in your photo. That's fishing for ya!
Why do fishermen fish certain places...a little tale. In the summer, we often fish large inland lakes in northern Saskatchewan where the lodges are
only accessible by float plane. We leave early in the morning in our lodge boats..and head across the big lake to fish the opposite shore..and about
right in the middle we usually meet the boats of fishermen from THAT side of the lake coming to OUR shore to fish...we smile and wave knowingly at

Always was amazed at the fishermen, fishing the Sacramento river for migrating salmon, traveling miles up or down that river to their favorite
trolling spots. Besides maybe lingering at the mouths of incoming rivers, like the American or Feather, they have to come by every spot on that river
to reach their spawning destinations. Why move all over to find them, like this
