Oh sorry. The rock about 8" was found close to the Sta Rosallita turnoff.
Seems to be turquoise. My trick, lick it. If yer tongue sticks it's copper or crysacola.

Bahia de L.A. has 'Magic Rocks' (so named by Paulina)... Toss 'em into your campfire and as soon as they heat up, beautiful colors!
