Some Alta California rainfall totals this AM

This should practically guarantee a very good wildflower season in Anza Borrego and northern Baja.

Time to delete the image as it is updating continually and is becoming irrelevant.

Hook, it started raining last night at about 8pm in Imperial Valley so Mexicali and the area towards San Felipe should also benefit from this rain. All of Mexicali needs rain as does the Imperial Valley. Still raining at this writing time is 8:30 am on Sunday. I lucked out as I just put in all new dual glazed windows w/ argon gas to help keep the heat down inside when summer comes as usually 109 to 120 during the summer and stuccoed the entire house finished all this Friday, so I lucked out on rain. Have a good one!!!! Later-----------bajafun777

Rather disappointed with my city's rain totals so far. Especially when there were predictions of 2-4 inches along the coast.

Still not over, though. T-storms possible tonite and tomorrow.

Rain just started again here in Oceanside... Rained all last night, too. Was dry for awhile... No work for me!:o

XE2/N6MNO, Ralph at Rancho Santa Ines reported on 3.944mHz this morning that he got 1.16" of rain out of this most recent storm. Should make for some spectacular flowers if anybody's gonna make a whale trip this spring.

Rained off and on last night in Asuncion but just the right amount...no arroyo problems just nice wet earth and aromatic flowers...the whole village smells like perfume!

Ron, it rained HARD here this morning for about 20 minutes around 5-6am. It's been off and on all morning.

Most of the critical Borrego stations have gotten approaching 2 inches in this latest round. Even the normally dry Fish Creek area got over half an inch.

Verbena and other early bloomers will be going strong in 2-3 weeks with any decent sun.
