Help a Gypsy Out

Bajagypsy - 1-29-2008 at 12:15 PM

Ok my fellow Nomad's, once again this sad Gypsy is asking for help.

You see it is a sad sad fact that we are in the middle of a deep freeze. I'm serious here, it is -37 degrees celsius, and with the wind it is currently -50 degrees celsius. It is suppose to stay this way all week.

Mr Gypsy and I made the decision not to send the kids to school as it is just way to cold.

So I'm asking, no I'm begging you to post your most wonderful Baja pictures, to get me through this horrid weather!

Please, I am begging:biggrin:

DianaT - 1-29-2008 at 12:48 PM

I cannot even imagine how cold that is------yikes.

OK,
One of your favorite places.

Diane

Hook - 1-29-2008 at 12:51 PM

Diane, is that the fabled place at San Roque?

Bajagypsy - 1-29-2008 at 12:51 PM

Thanks Diane, that is in San Roque correct?

I love the pink in the sky and how it reflects on the water and the plant life.

Dear "Frozen In Toontown..."

Here's some warm waters for you to thaw out in...and a Burros Beach get-together. Bring some Pilsner.

DianaT - 1-29-2008 at 01:05 PM

Oh Nena that is a lovely picture

Paulina - 1-29-2008 at 01:45 PM

Gypsy,

Bahia in August. Imagine yourself in 110 degrees with the sun directly overhead. There's a "cooling" breeze blowing off of the Sea of Cortez, and hot blazingly hot it is to have to walk from the shade to the panga to get retrieve your fish.

The whale sharks are there in the warmer months to help take your mind off of how hot it is.

If you want to cool off you could always jump in and go for a ride.

It's too hot for dancing unless you want to do the "clam dance" for dinner. Shuffle your toes in the soft sand until you find one.

And a nice cold Tecate sure tastes good on a hot baja day.

P<*)))><

DianaT - 1-29-2008 at 02:08 PM

Hey neighbor,

Real cold snap we are having---only in the 60s, but at least the rain has stopped.:lol:

Now back to your other home.
