Hi. I'm coming to Baja in early April, both coasts, to do some kayaking. Can you tell me roughly what the water temperature is likely to be, both in
the Pacific (around Punta Abreojos) and in the Bahia Concepcion? Thanks.

The water temp on the Pacific side is generally cold, low 60's maybe colder, and very windy that time of year. I don't think it warms up until you
get around Todos Santos. I'd skip the Pacific for kayaking in April.
I do know that BOLA, Bahia Concepcion and Loreto areas are beautiful that time of year. The winds are usually pretty light. The water is still a bit
chilly, but swimable for short periods. I would usually wear a spring suit to snorkel. We haven't done it for a while, but April/May is our favorite
time to do Kayak trips through these area.

Thanks for the info.
I live in the Pacific Northwest, where the ocean is in the low 50s and if it gets to 70 degrees three days in a row it's considered a heat wave and
people walk around in tank tops saying "Man, it's hot!"
I'm looking forward to warming up, but I think April in Baja is about as warm as I could stand it.
