Heading for BOLA, need weather report

Fausto - 2-12-2008 at 02:23 PM

I'll be in BOLA Feb15-18 anibody care to advise on the weather and the state of things? thinking of camping on the beaches north of town.
Thanks.
Fausto.

I'll venture a guess. It will be windy during the day and the air along the beach will be in the upper 60s to low 70s.

High pressure is dominating the southwest US except for one weak front coming down that wont really displace it. That's the reason for my prediction.

This is the best source of weather for BOLA that I know of, and most other places as well.

Thanks for the update, so..... it's the windy season? when is it best to go? I really do not care for the wind but it is convenient to go this weekend, I plan on fishing from the shore by the points north of town; What are the tides like for this weekend?
Thanks for the input Nomads.
Fausto.

The tides will be moderate, as it is a waxing quarter phase.

Based on the probably direction of the wind, with respect to the beaches by La Gringa, it will be helping your casts.

Winds usually are not a factor from June-October.

Go directly to the source! Mia is very quick with the facts and if there's something she doesn't know right off hand she will get the answer, everytime.
