and Dia de Amor y Amistad has been celebrated for a long time.
Yesterday, my special valentine and I had dinner (excellent fire-grilled rack of lamb) at Tapanco in Rosarito. The restaurant was decorated with
heart-shaped balloons and they gave gifts to the customers, both men and women.
He told me about a trip he made in Columbia about thirty-five years ago. Their mule train came out of the mountains to the first village they had
seen in weeks on February 14.
The village square was filled with the entire population of about 200 souls dancing and celebrating.
I love this story and it was a wonderful Valentine's Day present to share it with me.
