I've got that on other sites that I visit - but had no trouble getting in on TW's link. I don't remember, but it was some security setting or
something.tunaeater - 2-16-2008 at 10:37 PM

Will do. What's your race number?David K - 2-17-2008 at 10:33 PM
Let's see how this looks... A big loop with an interesting bottom end... No running on the old Puertecitos road or on Hwy. 5. Poor Caņada el Parral
(Azufre Wash) will get a workout!

Glad we got our trail ride in. Azufre will not hold up well to pre-running and race traffic. It has a much different sand / soil make up than say
Matomi or Huatamote do which are much more sandy. The 2 way area between Valle Chico and Huatamote should be interesting. Carlos is asking us to
run a 2 way pit there. Could be a nice area.David K - 2-21-2008 at 01:02 PM
The 2001 SF250 ran through Azufre Wash and when I traveled it 7 months later it was big whoops at the top end in the canyon and very uncomfortable to
drive... By 2004, when the Matomi gang went through Azufre, it was smoothed out again.tunaeater - 2-21-2008 at 08:43 PM

Paul
Just talked to Stuart (BajaJones) this AM. He has given the pit back to Carlos
Says he feels like a Mag7 pit captain making calls to get a crew together. In years past we have sometimes had too many people for our pit, at least
to have to feed and for sure who were there and didn't want to do anything but get drunk all day. Now there are not enough.
Looks like we will just be going to get the rigs in the dirt and spectate. Sadly LocosMocos may be coming to an end after a really good 10 year run.
Many of the core young studs that did the majority of the heavy pit work are married now and making babies. Glad to see it and that they are facing
more important responsibilities.
For most of the core guys here in So Cal focus will be shifting to PAC Racings class 8 / Trophy Truck ( we'll call it an 8phy Truck) doing main pit
and chase support for it when Pauly gets well.
One Baja adventure ends and another begins.
We may still be in the mix for the 500 and 1000. Time will tell.
Good skill to you Paul. Will be looking for you going by and I will keep you posted if there are any changes.TMW - 2-23-2008 at 08:55 AM
Sooner or later all things come to an end, but memories will live for ever. The LocosMocos have provided quality pit support to everyone needing it
and in some of the most god awful places. Good luck to all the members however it turns out.BAJACAT - 2-24-2008 at 12:30 AM
