Many of you are familiar with the story of Dave who is riding his bicycle from Seattle to Tierra del Fuego. Well he is in La Paz now and trying to
figure out the best way to get over to the mainland. We have some feelers out for any cruisers heading over soon on their boats or the ferry if that
doesn't work out. Anyway, here's the problem.
Dave has a pair of cycling shorts sent to him via DHL. The package is in one of the DHL offices and will be sent over to the near the house for
pick-up tomorrow. The shorts retailed for $104 and DHL charged $75. All prepaid. The problem is that the duty is going to be $104. Has anyone else run

These were a brand that was highly recommended by some other bikers. Problem is, does he spend another $104 bringing the total cost to $283 for a pair
of shorts? Or, figure he's out $179 with nothing to show for it?
