What's happening on the 'bank scene' in Loreto. Has the "other" bank gotten it's door open yet? If so, has the line gotten smaller at BanComer??????
There was a 'rumor' (don't you just love that word?) there was to be another bank coming that I think was Banco Azteca when they build the new
Electra store, as they place their branches in the stores.??????????? How nice it would be to see three banks operating in Loreto.
And what's the update on the airport facilities expansion?
Is the new terminal pretty much completed? And anything being done about 'visitor parking yet for autos????'backninedan - 2-27-2008 at 12:14 PM
Three banks up and running!! Two bancomer and a banamex. It has made banking a much easier thing to do. I still have my account with the old
bancomer and havent had to wait in a line since the new ones opened.capt. mike - 2-27-2008 at 03:23 PM
Phil i'll be at the airport next week for gas. it is not done, they have quite a ways to go, its a really big improvement when you consider the size
of the town IMHO. Some one musta been thinking new developments locally would fill the need for lots of gringo and resort travelers. there's no way
the town alone can support that much air travel need.Phil S - 2-27-2008 at 07:32 PM
Thnks Dan & Mike. Looking forward to my next visit in November for several weeks, and converting dollars to peso's without waiting 30 to 45
minutes in the line.vandenberg - 2-27-2008 at 07:38 PM
