Hi everyone!
My husband and I are heading to Mulege in a few weeks and are debating between staying at the Casa Granada B&B or renting one of the casitas at
Clementines. Both places look great online and I'm just wondering if any of you have experience with either/both of these places and could give me
some advice as to the pros or cons of each.
Also, we are planning on stopping in San Ignacio for 2 nights (do whale watching while there) and then spending 4 nights in Mulege. Does this sound
like a good itinerary, or would you recommend spending all the time in one place over the other (as I know they are fairly close).

Maybe reach GN and stay there for a night ?
Do the whale trip from GN and then head to San Ignacio later in the day.
A mid-day departure will get you to Mulege for check-in time.
This saves some time as the trip to the laguna is shorter in GN; assuming you will reach GN late in the day on your way down.

last time i talked to cliff (clementines) he was pretty well booked up so you might want to check. thou i have never stayed at casa granada (its 2
doors down from me) it is a nice place opertated by very nice people.

Mulege.......can't give you help there..........I've always camped in Moto, or tent...........
San Ignacio would be where I would recommend for Whale watching and accomdations. I would HIGHLY recomment "Rice & Beans" (best water pressure
in Baja with your shower, I know I might be boring people with this...........but, DANG! It's important to us gals once and awhile! 
Talk to Ricardo (owner) to hook you up with Alforsos Whale watching trip, he will radio them ahead to be waiting for you, (you can book a van to take
you the 1hr. trip, road trip (for $200USD) if you have an able rig...........drive out youself (you can get out there with a regular car,
although........it will take you much more that the 1hr., each way)
The panga guys, are great (I think he got as much of a kick when my gal-pal (who is a bit slower moving than the rest of us, finally go to pet the
"baby" that was teasing her)
DON'T DON'T get on one of the big boats.........I felt sooooo sorry for the people that were on one and watching the "Mommies" bring up the calves to
our Panga to be stroked and they had probably paid double that he had for our little Panga and were able to really interact.................Also, tell
Alfonos..........yes, you would like lunch when you come back..............food to DIE for, surved family style.............and sooooooooooooo,
soooooooooooo GOOD!
We paid $30USD PP for the trip, about 2 hrs. (lots of time) lunch was about $4.50pp
I really hope you have the chance to do this trip..........I'm planning on my 4th. trip soon with anybody I can drag with me for the fun!!!

Debra and CaboRon, your posts are so enticing...I'm ready to hop in the car for an impromptu trip to San Ignacio. Hmm, spring break is coming
up...

CaboRob is right on about the Springs. More expencive than Rice & Beans,, but very, very nice..........Very nice lady (sorry, can't remember her
name. MaryAnn, Brendan and I had breakfast there last spring and it was all that it is cracked-up to be.
Have fun, it is a trip to remember.

re: mulege....it's a tossup as to where you stay...cliff taylor, who operates the "clemantine" b and b's, is a wonderful guy, full of info regarding
day trips, places to see, eating spots, etc...his units are all located in a quiet little park called, appropriately, "the oasis"...we like him as a
neighbor and you couldn't ask for a nicer guy, in general...my read.

Stayed with Clliff 4 years ago and bought in the area that year. Cliff is a great guy and a straight shooter. Knows the area and is honest. End of
story
