Cap'n-- I'm a year away but will start to build in a few months in La paz-- what are your thoughts about how I might store it-- I'll be in La paz in
3 weeks- is it local to see? U2U me-- thanks-- Normcapt. mike - 3-10-2008 at 08:01 AM
that's a great boat, someone is gonna score at that price. wish i'd bought it earlier but i am still a ways off from needing a boat for retirement
recreation.
C'Kat - tell us more about your la paz building experience?Capt. George - 3-10-2008 at 04:16 PM

boat is in my garage in Punta Abreojos...we will be there in July...Great boat for La Paz....long runs out of there and she's real easy on fuel 140 4
stroke Suzuki. Has a 40 gallon tank, never needed more! 15 miles out, fish 4/5 hrs and 15 miles back, maybe 12 gallons...
A bunch of Marinas in La Paz...I could hold it in Abreojos till September..would need a good deal of "honest money" non-refundable, if you wanted me
to hold it...
see my profile and e mail me if you want.
good luck in La Paz, a beautiful (and still) Mexicano pueblo o ciudad..

Easy to store it at Jim and Gloria's Storage yard right near the airport. Everything is parked under a carport. The place is very well alarmed, very
secure and they live on the property. Very reasonable too at about $50/mo.Capt. George - 3-11-2008 at 04:56 PM
thanks "Brother", hope you are well and enjoying La Paz! GeorgeBruce R Leech - 3-12-2008 at 08:31 PM
you want to sell a boat without a photo?Bob and Susan - 3-13-2008 at 07:01 AM
bruce...
there is nowhere to post a picture here on this area of the board...Roberto - 3-13-2008 at 05:30 PM
Sure you can, just put the pic on an external website, and refer to it with [ img ] url [ / img ] . remove spaces.

Yep, Roberto is right. Just use a free image hosting service like "imageshack" or others.. You can upload the photo from your hard-drive to the
image hoster. Then get a direct link to the image and stick the url (link) between [img] [/img] like Roberto suggested.Sharksbaja - 3-14-2008 at 12:01 AM

Duskys are GREAT, seaworthy boats, built like tanks and one of the few real values available today. No frills, but you can add those later.Capt. George - 3-17-2008 at 06:43 AM
roberto you been in florida? must have, Dusky only available factory direct. same family for decades....thanks for your input..a boat not well known
on the west coast....
best boat in that genre for the dollar...17 hand layers of glass, you could break rocks with it!

first 12K takes it trailer and motor worth more!Pompano - 3-17-2008 at 07:18 AM
Capt. George. Welcome back from your travels. I see you still have the Dusky. I've been in boats all my life. If I were in the market for another
Sea of Cortez boat, I would immediately take that deal. Great price and lots of features...easy to trail and launch.
Perhaps this is not the best place to advertise it, though. How about consigning it in La Paz, Cabo, or even San Diego? Craigslist - Allcoast.com
forum - The Hull Truth? Amazing deal like that should sell overnight.
DUSKY is a fine boat...built like a tank and any serious bay or offshore fisherman knows it to be one of the best 19' CC's around.
That 'Susie' is also a great 4-stroke, repair shops seldom see them, and it's not a gas-guzzler.
In good condition, I'd say all this is a great bargain.
Good luck with the sale.
