Lots of us are going to the race in San Felipe and have an opportunity to help.
Mexicali is sending dog catchers to San Felipe this weekend in order to round up stray animals. Instead of euthanizing them, San Felipe Animal Rescue
(SFAR) will take these dogs to their compound in Las Manitas. They will keep them and/or find homes for them. Extra dogs = extra food.
Dog food would be greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at the SFAR Thrift Store. A bag of food doesn’t take up much room…please help if you
can.
This organization has spayed and neutered close to 6,000 animals to date and are planning a giant fund raiser called “Wolfstock” in April.
