We have a client that will be taking a service dog to Los Cabos this summer for the first time. Does anyone have any experience with having a service
dog in Baja? Are they generally accepted or are they frowned upon?
Any insight or resources would be greatly appreciated!
Gracias!

I've never seen one here, even with a tourist.
With the preponderance of goofy street dogs, I don't know how it would go over.

Introduce yourself to the restaurant owner/manager.
Make friends. If time permits, first become a customer without the dog. Then, explain about your dog and ask permission to bring your dog when you
return.
Many restaurants in Rosarito and TJ welcome our dogs, indoors and outdoors, but dining outdoors is best for a first time visit with nervous restaurant
owners.

Gypsy,
I think we're talking seeing eye dog here. I agree with Dennis, with all the street dogs running wild, would be difficult for the service animal.
