Hello all. I am planning a road trip down to my house in Los Barriles. For a change of scenery, I wanted to head east @ San Diego, then cross over and
travel down the eastern shoreline. Into San Felipe, Puertocitos, Gonzaga, BofLA, etc.... Can anyone give me some good tips for gasoline, hotels,
sights not to miss and the like? Gracias buckets!

You do know the road south of Puertecitos is VERY rocky and slow for 40 of the 50 miles to Gonzaga Bay... 3 hours to go 50 miles (in a truck or SUV).
Gonzaga to Hwy. 1 is 36 miles and not rocky, but washboard surface (1.5-2 hrs.).
L.A. Bay south to Hwy. 1 near Vizcaino (via Guillermo Prieto) is fairly good dirt road... great cactus gardens. Sidetrips to Punta San Francisquito
and Mision Santa Gertrudis are worth the time.
Alfonsina's is the 'hotel' on Gonzaga Bay. Villa Bahia, Raquel & Larry's (north of town) and Costa del Sol in town are the best that Bahia de los
Angeles has to offer.
Gas top offs at San Felipe, Bahia de los Angeles, Vizcaino... Also gas at Gonzaga Bay Pemex, and L.A. Bay Jcn. at Hwy. 1 from independent vendors.

Thanks David. Yeah, I once trailered a boat to Puertocitos on that rocky road. It was very long indeed time wise! Thanks
