Fyi - In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is freedom, in water there is bacteria
In recent scientificaly controlled experiments, it has been shown that if you drink one kilo of water each day, at the end of the year you will have
consumed more than one kilo of E. coli (fecal bacteria) = one kilo of poop. However when drinking wine and beer (or tequila, rum etc.) there is no
risk due to the pasturization process required to purify it.
Therefore water = poop, Wine and beer = health - better to drink wine and talk stupid than drink water and be full of s--t.
Hope this helps -

Especially in Baja!

Aha! Scientific evidence that supports my personal opinion.
Thanx, Marv.

Fields gave this rationale (for not drinking water): "Fish **** in it.

The water was not fit to drink. To make it palatable, we had to add whiskey. By diligent effort, I learned to like it.
I've tried to follow that wiseman's words for quite some time now

More WC Fields quotes...
I never drink water; that is the stuff that rusts pipes.
If I had to live my life over, I'd live over a saloon.
It was a woman who drove me to drink, and I never had the courtesy to thank her for it.
Now don't say you can't swear off drinking; it's easy. I've done it a thousand times.
The cost of living has gone up another dollar a quart.
and here's one from Henny Youngman (he always made me laugh)... My Mother is over 80 and doesn't need glasses. She drinks straight from the bottle!

Guess I'll round out the WC Fields quotes with a few more of my favorites:
"Never kick a cow chip on a hot day!
There are 2 theories to arguing with a woman - neither works
Always drink upstream from the herd
Never miss a good chance to shut up.".... bye
