Construction of a public storage facility

JZ - 3-30-2008 at 11:32 PM

Anyone have any insights or unique construction approaches, materials that might be appropriate to the building of a medium size public storage facility in Mexico? Something with up to several hundred units of varying sizes from 5 x 5 to 12 x 30 or something along those lines.

JZ,

You might ask the guys on Viva San Carlos what the units there are made of. I have seen a storage unit in Barra de Navidad and it was built of block with one side of the block decorative so the outside looked kind of like rough cut stone.

Good luck,

Stan

block, or pre engineered metal building with chain link internal bays. Joe call me if you want maybe i can help you do this. either way metal roll-up doors.

Yeah...Like Mike says. Make the internal seperations so they can't easily be gone through or over. I've seen it happen.

Thanks Mike. I'm traveling, but I'll call you when I get back.
