Better the whale watching than the slaughter that used to occur. While it has been argued over and over that perhaps it is not always the best for
the whales, it certainly has brought more attention to them and more interest in caring for them.
From the article, it sounds like the critical problem is the feeding grounds way up in the north--- either overgrazing, and or problems due to climate
change. A long article, but it deserves careful reading.
Will look forward to the next article mentioned at the end.
