As a fly fisherman, I have always wanted to hook that great big roosterfish and as yet have not gotten that big one to brag about. But last year,
while guiding on the East Cape, I got my buddy into a pretty good load of a fish. Less than a hundred yards or so from the Punta Arena lighthouse.
Hotel Punta Colorada is just a hike down the beach. Any other big roosters around?

Outstanding catch!
I do not fly fish, but have caught several slow trolling Mullet. My largest a "true" 30 lbs.
The East Cape is a great place.
