The R-to-E Fun Ride went by today and seemed to have plenty of participants and everyone seemed to be having a good time.
Besides the usual police escorts, the race was supervised by very large, very black helicopter(s), the kind with the open rear doors for offloading
whatever, cruising along near rooftop level.

I heard some talk of the quantity of participants was down 50% from previous years.

The final count was 5000 riders. It was definitely down from last April, but still a lot of riders and a lot of fun!

It was last Saturday ElFAro.....but the next one is September 27th....so mark your calendar.

April Bike Race normally drew 9,000 - 10,000.
