This is always a sight that makes me smile...look closely at the back of the garbage truck...these canines are famous here and get lots of goody
handouts on the garbage routes...they are one of the basuramen's doggies and are well loved and fed and are very proud riding the truck every day! It
is one of the million things I love about Baja...no leashes...even the dogs respect and tolerate each other and enjoy life each day.

Shari,
We enjoyed the dog that came with the Sunset House in Bahia Asuncion, what a love. LauriBajagypsy - 4-22-2008 at 07:26 PM
Lauri,
Mr. Gypsy and I had some part in the sunset house dog, we "accidently" feed him and he kept coming back! Tito is a great dog!Lauriboats - 4-23-2008 at 08:02 AM

Oh, so it was you. Tito is a really good dog, never tried to come in the house, got along well with my dog, he let us know if anyone came close and
of course ate lots of good dog treats.shari - 4-23-2008 at 08:03 AM
Ah yes, the famous Tuto that rhymes with Puto...he's hilarious..whenever a gringo car pulls into the sunset casita...he's there to guard them! that's
one local who truly LOVES and welcomes more gringos here!!!!rbwrivers - 4-23-2008 at 01:12 PM
My dogs started training for our trip yesterday. They are going to have to learn some manners if they will be staying in town.SiReNiTa - 4-23-2008 at 04:51 PM

Oh Ken, that's a great picture of the kids, gosh sirenita must have been around 10? Was that at Campo Alejandro...at alejandro's place...looks like
the kids slept in the back of the pick up! LOve it.
Vanilla in a supervisory role...

Shari, that was late November, 2001 at the Campo. Here's another one of them working on their 'volcano'. I need to look back through some of my
archived photos for more...

That was THE coolest sand volcano I've ever seen...ingenious...you can see it smoking out the top hole...brilliant!
