Abalone Feast Fiesta in Asuncion

Andan crudos esta maņana nuestros amigos! There are a bunch of hungover nomads this morning after last nights abalone fiesta at our place. Everyone enjoyed Juan's culinary delights as well as his musical abilities and had a fun time. It was a delightful cross cultural evening...even Alonso shook his booty on the dance floor and everyone contributed to the jam session playing tambourines, maracas, spoons, guitar, sax, even played wine glasses!!! We were wishin that Dennis was here though with his drums....(your neighbour Lee was the hit of the party Dennis) I taught the guys to "cumbia". There were some pretty scandalous photos taken which may appear in a trip report at a later date if I can get lurker Lee out of the closet.
I wonder how Lee is doing out on the abalone boat this morning? The weather is stupendous the last few days..summer weather...hot, light breeze, calm seas...gorgeous...perfect for today's horshoe tourney at Bajaboys place...gotto go warm up for the event!

Missed another good one :(

Hey I didn't know Kevin played the sax. I knew he played the steel guitar. Is that a tambourine he has on his head? LOL

What fun.

Ah yes, Kevin the Bee King...was coronated for removing the last (we hope) of 5 beehives...He was the life of the party donning his tambourine crown and playing dozens of golden oldies for an appreciative crowd of Nomads...too bad Barbareno wasn't here to harmonize and shake it on the dance floor.
