On the SCORE web site there is a notice about crossing the border for the Baja 500 race. It says you will need a Temporary Importation Pediment if you
have a trailer, step van, truck, or semi trailer over 18 feet long.
I hate to tell you but just about every full size truck that's a crew cab or extended cab is over 18 feet long. So everyone make sure to get your TIP.
You don't want to get in trouble with the Mexican government.
