I see a double now and then at our local hatchery. It is the Albertson's of fish eagle markets.

Vag, very special stuff. Thanks to pros like you and wonderful equipment we get to see how they do it. Pelicans can dive to some incredible depths but not from floating on the surface. Frigates can pick prey from the surface but risk life and limb if they get soaked. Ospreys can splash and grab but cannot dive. I have personally saved a couple who grabbed AND dived -- were pulled below the surface by big strong fish in their grasp. Maybe that's my Tao, try too hard, reach too far, ignore danger beyond my appetite. Thanks again.

Osprey...NOT MY WORK! I wish I was a fraction that good. Those images were sent to me and I thought of you immediately. Glad you liked them.

The very best Osprey photos I have ever seen. I have watched them for hours in BC landing trout like that, but impossible to see the detail like this. Really impressive how they are able to see the fish, hone in on them and engage in the most impressive and fast dive that one could imagine. Amazing birds.

Thanks for sharing this remarkable sequence.

The best I have seen of "this amazing bird", are of him mixing a Bloody Mary,

oops, wrong Osprey!

Breathtaking...stunning, the best bird photos I've seen...gracias...and good to see that both ospreys are "double fisters".
