I was in Z-land a few years age and they indeed had tourist police, walking around with shotguns and automatic rifles.

I think the main thing I got out of it was you don't have to stop for anyone except a Federal Cop on the toll road.
Notice the lights are on top of the car not in the windshield like most of the carjack victims reported.
And how can officials doing something be worthless in any of your eyes? It's a start, isn't it?

I have never seen that bike on the road........
Is this something new or just a plug for the 500?.
Did you think Sal would say something different...........He only makes a TON of money for his efforts.

Just for the record:
I am not promoting the Mexican governments efforts
I am not promoting SCORE, Sal Fish, or the Baja 500
I am not promoting the Mexican Federal Police force...
Or the un-identified type or effectiveness of the motorcycle...
at this time.
Should I choose to do so, I will let you all know.
If you notice, I only posted the Youtube link and a topic heading with no other personal comments.
Post you thoughts or opinions in whatever flavor you like, just keep me personally out of your thought processes, OK?

Gadget, great posting and the report was very good. It is nice to get a postive spin on what has been happening in that area. If it works there, it
can only spread to other areas and is a positive step in the right direction. Thank you for posting the connection.
