New authors,DON'T FORGET, Pyramid Resort 6th Annual Booksigning and Winetasting

Sat May 3rd 11:00am to 5:pm. We have some new authors George Puckett, Marsh Cassady, and Peter Fowler, some new books, Graham Macintosh's Marooned with very little beer and Bernie's book for Nomads, Bernie talking Baja with his nomad friends. Murdoch Hughes with a new mystery for us. Gil Sperry will be here again with his Mariachi for Gringos, don't miss out on this one . It's a must have for Baja lovers. Ok wine lovers for you , Ralph Amey will have his book on Baja Wines and we will have some of those great Baja Wines here to taste, Adam Collings with his book on California and Baja Missions Baja and Martina Dobesh with A call from the Heart., WE also have the Salzambra Flamenco Dancers at 2:00 pm.You won't want to miss these beautiful,fiery senoritas. and hopefully another fly by from our resident paraglider, Hope to see you all there,k Oh and I forgot the potluck at 6pm and the Tequila Tasting with fdt at around 8pm How could I forget that, Don't miss out ,it's a full day of fun.k

It is Baja Legends that is going into its third printing. Good, now we got him lots of press for both books. Either way He'll be there and hopefully have both books with him so you can get them signed,k

Don Pistos Liquor stores in Rosarito. There is 3 or 4 of them. There is one up a couple of blocks from El Nido on the other side of the street across from Rosarito beach hotel. k Don Pisto is the guy that carries his stomach around in the wheel barrow . Does that help.k

I talked my two friends and wife into taking the motorcycles to the booksigning but will not be able to stay the whole day like last year. Going to enjoy the easy ride down from Brawley through Tecate and ease on into the event by 12 noon or so. Hope to meet up with a few nomads I enjoyed meeting last year and introducing my wife and friends to you. Later======= bajafun777

Meet the authors, taste the free beer and wine, say hi to Nomads... Get outdoors for awhile and off the stupid computer!

Come on down the toll road to the Alistos/ La Fonda/ La Mision/ Plaza del Mar exit and head north one mile on the free road to the Plaza del Mar compound (note the pyramid)... between Rosarito and Ensenada. 11:00 am to 4:00 pm... Pot luck dinner and tequila tasting party later!

Where did all the Nomads go?

We went to the book signing today, but what with beach weather and competing fiestas, the turnout was on the light side. Nonetheless, the spirit of the event was great: many popular authors, excellent beer samples (thank you, fdt) and a wonderful atmosphere.
