My son-in-law asked me to post this on the Nomad's board. So here it is:
The plane is a 1957 182A, #N4018D. It was purchased in 1978 and is hangered at Brawley, CA municipal airport. The last annual was performed 8/27/05
and it has not been flown since then. It had a prop strike in May, 2003. In Nov, 2003 the engine was removed and completely overhauled. There is 0
time on the bottom end, and the top end was brought up to specifications and has 669 hours since top overhaul, all cylinders 78/80 compression test
and a new propeller was installed. The engine was reinstalled into the airplane in Apr, 2004. Airframe hours are 4100.
There are no radios - they were stolen out of the plane when the prop strike happened.
If you are interested - you may email me at turner4956@comcast.net or call 801-209-2579.capt. mike - 5-4-2008 at 08:40 AM

Yep----and when you discover what color it is you will NEVER have to worry about "not being found" if you are forced down somewhere
