Almost time for my trip. It's a quick short trip but that's okay. Looks like the fishing is okay. Nothing great but a little of everything is biting.
I'm not taking my fishing or diving stuff. I think I'll just take 1 carry on. Hopfully I can find everything I need there.
I'm not bringing any fish home either. I think I'll keep my 1st decent fish and try to let everything else go. 1 nice fish and 1 or 2 nice meals
should be okay.
I guess some didn't read my post so I'm leaving Wens for a trip to La Paz. I'm staying at La Ventana. Never been there before but I know the Los
Muertos area and like it.
If it's really good I won't be giving a report either so watch for the silence and you will know it was goodfdt - 5-20-2008 at 06:00 AM
You're trip is quick and short, you're not taking much, bringing back nothing, eating only twice, you only need one nice fish and no report. I think
I'll keep you under observation Pescador - 5-20-2008 at 06:45 AM
Holy Cow Man, have you gone loony? The only reason some people catch fish is to brag about them. Here I am with all this expensive equipment, all
the knowledge garnered over a lifetime, just to outsmart something with the brain that is about the size of a peanut.
Have a great trip, summer is truly upon us.Diver - 5-20-2008 at 07:13 AM
I saw those photos on Mexfish. So ya pretty good fishing. I'd love to hang a big pargo.
I've caught a couple 20 pounders but never the big one.
I guess I'll need to look for a billfish while I'm there.
The snorkel and mask won't take up much space. Hopefully I can find some fins there.
It's been hot here the past few days. 90 or so. But today is overcast and cold.
I'm so excited I want to ditch work today but no real reason to.Diver - 5-20-2008 at 03:28 PM
I am sooo jealous !!
If you get a chance, stop in Pablo's mini-super next to Viento del Norte restuarant and have him make you one of his special Micheladas !bajamigo - 5-20-2008 at 06:38 PM
Hey, Mike, if you catch anything you don't want to drag across the border, I'll meet you in Maneadero (or you are always welcome at Rancho Packard).

Thanks Vince. I'm sure there will be a few fish from San Quintin that will make it your way.fishbuck - 5-24-2008 at 08:07 AM
My last morning at secret beach. Fishing was fair. Dorado, bonita , amberjack and 1 50lb roosterfish. My 1st rooster and now my favorite fish to
catch. What a brute. I tried to lift him out for a photo but just as I grabbed his tail he bite the line and broke off. That's as good as it gets!
Weather in the La Paz area was perfect. Never used the aircon once in my room.
I am sitting on a waterfront patio now and have time for one quick snorkel before I head to the airport.

Okay I'm home in Costa Mesa, Ca.
What an incredible trip. Another true Fishbuck adventure.
I caught a great fish, fell in love with a beautiful girl and had a great beach all to myself!
So much fun.
As this is a secret beach I'm not posting the details but would be glad to share if you want to U2U me. And I might even tell you if I like you. Only
joking. I tell if you U2U.
I'm already planning another trip in July or August.
