You might want to consider FTA. We switched over our system to FTA when Dish Network wanted an exorbitant rate for inactive service. Los Frailes on
this website is an installer and can answer any questions you might have. We ave had our setup for 9 months in Baja and love it. Last count was 223
stations.

You MIGHT be able to acquire the BellExpressVu (Nimiq) satellites at 82 and 91 deg west via FTA + Internet access to download updates @ $10 per month
($30 for three months).
However, looking at the satellite footprints, you may be too far South. As stated, there are installers who have experience in this area. Check with
someone who installs in that area.
The Star Choice satellites (Anik) show footprints which extend much farther South.

You can get BellExpressVu with a 2meter dish in La Paz, StarChoice you can get with their regular dish(small in size capable of being carried in
airline luggage.)
