Members having problems opening the forums

Hose A --- I had the same problem a while back on my home desktop. My fix was to put a check mark in the "Secure Login - increased security on public computers" box then log on. I don't know what happened but for some reason that worked. I no longer have to do it.

This afternoon I could not open the forums using the top button, but the tiny one at the bottom worked. THEN, when I got in, I opened a thread and found it was posted three times in a row. I sent a u2u to that person letting them know that they tripple posted, but I was mistaken. I also saw that persons name three times in a row in the members online section.
Twilight zone on my computer, or I've had too much Tab today and I'm not seeing straight!

Sounds like possibly a cache problem. In IE go to Tools / Internet Options / Browsing History / Delete Files then delete Temorary Internet Files.

Well, we are back! Evidently what happened was due to a power outage. One day we were here in the Internet Cafe happiliy typing away, and crash, off went the electricity. After that, no Baja Nomad Forum. Still got into other forums, but not this one.

I tried for off and on the next day tricks that had worked before--the little button at the bottom and the back door which had worked at times in the past. Google a topic that you know is on the forum and get in that way. No luck.

Well, the owner of the Internet Cafe found out from TelCel that when the power crashed, everything went back to an old default. He fixed the problem.

Thank you Gene and Doug for your e-mails and thanks to others for their suggestions.

Hose A,

Sounds like you have solved the problem. My post is to further confirm that, because I haven't had any problems opening Nomad forums. Looks like it was indeed a localized problem. FYI I am back in No. California.
