It will be interesting to see if the quality improves, or goes down----------the accuracy of the AAA maps in recent years has suffered as the AAA map
makers try to make judgements on what should be offered to the public------i.e. they have deleted many small roads from their maps, ostensibly to keep
folks from getting in trouble on marginal roads, I believe------there solution was to just not show those questionable roads-----------totally (in my
opinion) bastardizing the usefulness of the AAA maps. AAA used to be the "standard" that all map makers tried to emulate-------sadly that is no
longer true.
Having said that, AAA is still often the best game in town when it comes to local USA area maps that are easy to read and follow. Hopefully the new
map makers (outside contractors) will be just as good, or better.
Stay tuned.
