So if you are gonna waste all that time just slipping through the water, the least that you could do to justify your time is to pull a feather jig
just in case a hungry dorado happens by.Skipjack Joe - 6-1-2008 at 01:34 AM
Amen to that.Capt. George - 6-1-2008 at 06:37 AM

May I ask what their last names are?
I raced Hobies for almost 30 years and we could know each other.
Thanks!
There really IS much more than fishing....

Right you are, Bob...
We love fishing more than most...but also love sailing. Hey, as long as it's in a boat, it's all good.
Many of us used to have sailing regattas all around the Bay from about 1988 - 1998. We had races for all classes of sail...from 32' tri class to
sailing dingys. Prindles, Hobies, anything that moved by the wind. Larger monohulls were entered, too.
It was a lot of fun then, and I think it is time for you to get some more going now!

.
. OF COURSE, IT NOT JUST ABOUT SAILING, EITHER...FISHING STILL RULES!!

Well, even though we thoroughly enjoyed our little road trip to Playa Naranjo...it WAS all about the fishing for Juan...he was pretty happy to catch
this halibut and we feasted on other local seafood delicacies as well....I loved the swimming and shelling...and lovely people at that beach. Everyone
was soooo nice and friendly. But it was WAYYYYYY too hot for my liking the days we were there...and I sure was glad to be back on the pacific side to
cool off and nurse my sunburn.

Bob and Susan, I agree. From my experience, the fishing was a major
disappointment. Everything else was fantasic.

When you come back next season, I think you are going to have to come in the boat with me for a couple of trips. Maybe we can restore some fishing
faith in you!
Skeet knows some things. Well, we all do to some extent. I will
guarantee you this: The days we go out..."You will catch enough for a dinner party." Now don't go inviting a mob...
See you at that time.Cypress - 6-1-2008 at 05:25 PM
Pompano, Thanks, My faith in Baja fishing is in need of restoration.Tomas Tierra - 6-3-2008 at 08:37 AM
It looks like a Turbot or Flounder Jaun is holding...whichever I bet it was tasty!
