Yes, that's what I was wondering. Hopefully all went well...Ken Cooke - 6-3-2008 at 09:38 PM
I read in Dirt Sports Magazine that there was more security in the Ensenada area for the race weekend. Hopefully, this kept all of the bad guys at
home...TMW - 6-4-2008 at 06:13 PM

I have not heard anything bad from anyone. Race went well, about 300 racers, which is down from last couple of years but still a good turn out. Lot's
of people at contingency and on both sides of the start wash on race day. With north bound side of street closed and south bound with 1 return lane in
front of convention center it made a mess in trying to get around town in car/truck. Husongs was elbow to elbow on Sat night. I tried for months to
get a room at the Ensenada Inn but KTM had booked the complete hotel. sometime shortly before the race they cancelled them because they didn't have a
race team in the race.
I should add we crossed the border coming home Tuesday evening in Mexicali. Got in line at 7:20pm and crossed at 7:30pm. 10 minutes, fastest in a very
long time.
