Welcome.

You sure are a long ways away from Baja. How often do you make the trip?

Have fun

A fellow Brit who has written 4 wonderful books on his adventures in Baja is also here on Nomad: 'Graham' who is none other than Graham Mackintosh! He lives in the San Diego area, with his American wife, Bonni... great people!

See his work: http://grahammackintosh.com

I was in London Heathrow 2 yrs ago, and I remember the gray skies and very little sun. No bueno. As for me, I'm leaving for TJ in the morning. I'm getting some 4WD differential work performed to the Jeep, and I'm going shopping for Baja-centric t-shirts on the Revo. Can't wait! :bounce:

Yes, welcome and stay on the Baja Nomad site-good information. My wife and I have a place in Ensenada.

bacquito - 6-4-2008 at 05:09 PM

You might consider Ensenada.net as a good source of information about the area.

shari - 6-4-2008 at 07:32 PM

MUcho gusto MexUk....from a fellow commonwealther (canuck) married to a mexican man. I think we should have a welcome back party when you get back to Baja...and we can all party like ROCK STARS!!! I bet your wife is looking forward to seeing her family again...well, hope to meet you both one day...nice to have a Euro on board!

mucho gusto

I just spent 20 minutes trying to download all the necessary files for that demo. It never did work but sure had all my security software in a tizzy.
I sure hope it has something to do with Baja if anyone can get it up and running.

At the rest of his website he's promoting sales of that thing (some sort of Windows-only toolbar that gives a partial list of online TV stations, something you can find for free anywhere). Nothing to do with Baja or Mexico, not appropriate for here at all.

(updated later) I was referring to the website that was in his sig at that time, not the one that is there now. Glad the link got removed before too many people wasted time with it.

I managed to make the download work, but all it showed was some women in skimpy outfits shaking their thing and some kind of music (not even mariachi music) playing in the background. Ads seemed to be for soething called e-music.
I'm glad HOSE A deleted the post as moderator. This is a sales pitch for a product from a country outside the US or Mexico, that has nothing to do with Baja.

mexuk - 6-6-2008 at 08:27 AM

thanks for your feedback i have deleted the link i was only asking people what they thought of my software i never said it had anything to do with usa or baja its self i think everyone picked this up wrong but thanks anyway.

Sounds like:

"Hi, my Name is Ged....I am a Baja addict."

Getting 13-stepped???
