The two four-month old Great Dane puppies went back to the vet today.
The black female weighed in at 44 lbs., but she still has a case of demodetic mange and needs more shots and medicated shampoo.
The one-eyed white/grey/black merlequin brother weighed in at 34 lbs. When I jumped up and down and cheered, the vet looked at me with respect.
The conversation we had the month before was the question, "Will he survive?"
At that time, he gave me no answer.
Today, I guess I received the answer.

Obviously, lots of TLC has done wonders.
