For those who fly out of TJ, there's a new park and ride service in Otay. Just opened June 4th. It's quite reasonable compared to parking at the TJ
airport.
Quite reasonable? It's a bargain compared to parking at the TJ airport. It's $170 pesos a day to park there in the short term. Long term is ~150
pesos and is usually full so you have to use short term! This new place is only $5 a day!CaboRon - 6-20-2008 at 08:00 AM
Thank's, it has been added to my favorites.
A welcome service.

It's $5/day to park, and $12 for the shuttle to the airport with reservations; $18 without reservations (each person).
Otay is another 20 miles from anywhere.
Aeromex and Volare both have free transportation to the airport from San Diego if you're flying out of TJ.
Taxi from TJ border to the airport is usually $10.
Greyhound from downtown San Diego to the central bus station/airport is $7.50.CaboRon - 6-20-2008 at 10:03 AM

They always get you with the add on charges.
As to Volaris they do charge $15-us each way for their shuttle. At least that's what they state on their web site.. where you can also make
reservations for the shuttle.

"AeroMexico is offering United States-domiciled to ticketed passengers a free shuttle service from the border to Tijuana International Airport. All
the passenger needs to do is to take Intercalifornias, the intermodal bus provider from the border. The telephone number is (619) 428-8259.
Volaris is offering United States ticketed passengers shuttle service from Santa Fe Station in downtown San Diego to Tijuana International Airport.
Passengers should contact their Volaris ticket agent for further information. "
Maybe the Intercalifornias bus fare is cheaper than a taxi.
