Inexpensive lodging

Nomads. I've seen a lot of posts about inexpensive lodging in baja. I need to drive from La Paz to Phoenix in late Nov to pick up my wife and drive her back. I've used the Desert Pass thru Desert Inns, but they're double occupancy and pricy and I'll be alone. Looking at San Ignacio, Guerrero Negro and Catavina. Hopefully I can stay with bajadoc in Ensenada and then on to Phoenix. Mucho Gracias

If you don't mind basic, not fancy, but friendly -----certainly not the Desert Inn or Baja Cactus, but ---

San Ignacio-----Motel Posada a couple of blocks from the Plaza----family run, quiet, basic.

Guerrero Negro ----Motel Ballenas----Signs direct you---off the main street. Again, family run, basic, quiet.

Catavina ---- Linda's across and down the street from the La Pinta (Desert Inn) Same as the above.

If Baja Cactus is full and you want to drive further, right on the highway a little north of Colonet is the Hotel Sonora---basic, decent, but not as quiet.

Good Luck----still keep hoping for a Baja Cactus Chain of Hotels.:yes:

The PUB is always open for peaceful nomads. Have had many fun guests this past winter and spring. Look forward to more. The password is "cerveza".
